Bent Signs New Deal - Ipswich Town News
Town striker Darren Bent has signed a new three-year deal with the club. Bent was the major success story of Town's 2001/02 season, making his debut in the away leg of the UEFA Cup tie with Helsingborgs IF.
Bent ended the season having made seven first team appearances and has scored two goals.
At all levels he hit the target more than 30 times last season. He also impressed for the England U19s, scoring three goals in three appearances, including two in the Germany game at Portman Road.
