Saints Deny Town Links - Ipswich Town News
Southampton chairman Rupert Lowe has rejected reports that his club are interested in Town duo Matt Holland and Fabian Wilnis. Local newspaper reports claimed an interest in the Town skipper while national papers claimed the Dutchman may be on his way to the south coast.
The Saints' chairman refuted both stories: "There is nothing in either of those but we are working hard on a few possibilities and will have to see which ones come to fruition. But we are hopeful of sorting something out.
"We won't confirm any signings until they are done because we do not want to alert other clubs to our interest but a lot of the reports are way off the mark."
