No Deals Yet - Sheepy - Ipswich Town News
Town chairman David Sheepshanks says that he doesn't expect any offers for Town players just yet. He feels that clubs will take their time about bringing in new players.
The Town chairman said: "Clubs are not prepared to take on the extra month or so of salary unless of course they think there might be a chase on and they think they might miss out.
"We have had no bids in for anybody so far and I don't expect that much activity for players for a few weeks. Clubs, in the main, like transfer moves to coincide with the beginning of pre-season training."
Titus Bramble's expected move to Newcastle is unlikely before pre-season in any case with the defender currently recuperating after his achilles operation.
