Ex-Players' Dinner Postponed - Ipswich Town News

Friday evening’s Ex-Players' Association Hall of Fame Dinner has become the latest casualty of the weather.

It was felt, given the forecast for the next few days, with former Blues travelling from across the country and in some cases from further afield, that it was wise to postpone the event, which takes place in the Sir Bobby Robson Suite, until Friday 4th May, two days before the 40th anniversary of Town’s 1978 FA Cup triumph.

Organised by the Ex-Players' Association, whose chairman is Bryan Hamilton, the annual dinner announces and pays tribute to the new inductees into the club’s Hall of Fame.

Now in its 39th year, the 2017 event was attended by more than 200 ex-players and their guests.
