Kenlock, Celina, Gleeson and Iorfa Start Against Blades - Ipswich Town News

Myles Kenlock, Bersant Celina, Stephen Gleeson and Dominic Iorfa all return to the Blues’ starting XI for this afternoon’s game against Sheffield United.

Left wing-back Jonas Knudsen misses out due to a tight hamstring and Mustapha Carayol having suffered a groin problem at Sheffield Wednesday in midweek, while Jordan Spence and Luke Hyam drop to the bench.

Town look set to play a similar 3-5-2 system to the one they employed at Hillsborough with Celina playing off main striker Martyn Waghorn.

Cameron Carter-Vickers, who spent the first half of the season with the Blades, is again part of a back three with skipper Luke Chambers and Adam Webster.

For the visitors, Ched Evans and John Lundstram come into the team replacing Clayton Donaldson, who is on the bench, and Mark Duffy, who is absent due to a tight calf. Ex-Blues loanee Richard Stearman starts in the Blades defence.

Town: Bialkowski, Carter-Vickers, Chambers (c), Webster, Iorfa, Skuse, Connolly, Gleeson, Kenlock, Celina, Waghorn. Subs: M Crowe, Spence, Garner, Ward, Hyam, Sears, Nydam.

Sheffield United: Blackman, O’Connell, Stearman, Basham, Stevens, Fleck, Lundstram, L Evans, Baldock, Sharp (c), C Evans. Moore, Donaldson, Wilson, Leonard, Lafferty, Holmes, Brooks. Referee: John Brooks (Leicestershire).
