Ben Folami netted the only goal in the fourth minute as Town’s U23s beat Bristol City, who were reduced to 10 men towards the end, 1-0 at the Stoke Gifford Stadium this afternoon.
Robins keeper Alhaji Sesay was dismissed 12 minutes from time for a two-footed challenge.
The game was a rearranged fixture postponed earlier in the month due to the weather.
Meanwhile, the Blues’ U18s are in action against Huddersfield at Playford Road on Saturday morning (KO 11am). Last week’s U18s fixture at Leeds was postponed.
