Lankester on Target as Academy Duo Make Bury Debuts - Ipswich Town News
Blues youngster Jack Lankester netted a debut goal as he and fellow academy scholar Brett McGavin made their debuts for loan club Bury Town in this afternoon's 2-1 Bostik North Division home victory over Canvey Island.
Lankester, 18, was named the man of the match and opened the scoring two minutes after half-time as well as picking up an assist for Bury’s second goal and a booking. The striker and midfielder McGavin, also 18, both played the full 90 minutes.
