Celina Wins Cap as Woolfenden Helps Bromley to Wembley - Ipswich Town News
Town’s on-loan Manchester City midfielder Bersant Celina won his ninth full cap as Kosovo beat Madagascar 1-0 in a friendly in Paris this evening.
Racing Genk’s Edon Zhegrova netted the winning goal on his international debut in the 47th minute. The Kosovans play Burkina Faso on Tuesday, also in Paris.
Elsewhere, on-loan Town defender Luke Woolfenden was in the Bromley side which secured a place in the FA Trophy final at Wembley on Sunday 20th May after beating Gateshead 4-3 on aggregate, this afternoon’s semi-final second leg in the North-East having ended in a 1-1 draw.
Fellow Blue Shane McLoughlin, who is also on loan with the Ravens, is ineligible for the FA Trophy.
