Academy Full-Back Crowe Adds to England U17s Caps - Ipswich Town News

Academy right-back Dylan Crowe started and won his sixth England U17s cap as the Young Lions drew 1-1 with Brazil in the second of two friendlies against Brazil at the Pinatar Arena in Murcia this afternoon. Arsenal's Tyreece John-Jules scored England's goal.

Full-back Crowe was also in the side which lost 1-0 to the Brazilians in the opening game on Friday.

The matches are part of the squad’s preparations for the European U17 Championships England is hosting in May.

In addition to his U17s caps, first-year scholar Crowe, 16, has previously played for the England U16s and U15s.

Elsewhere, 22-year-old Blues keeper Michael Crowe, no relation, was an unused sub as Wales lost 1-0 to Uruguay in the final of the China Cup in Nanning.
