Symonds Leaves Town Board - Ipswich Town News
Former joint-managing director Jonathan Symonds has left the Town board.
Symonds (pictured right) moved on from the Marcus Evans Group just over a year ago but remained a director of Town until confirmation of his departure today, although is understood to have had little recent involvement in the running of the club.
The 47-year-old was appointed the chief operating officer of mobile ticketing company Active PLC in January 2017 after more than 20 years with MEG.
He joined the Town board in November 2007 following Marcus Evans’s takeover and was joint-managing director with Ian Milne between April 2013 and August 2015.
