Chambers Expected to Miss Rest of Season With Cracked Rib - Ipswich Town News
Skipper Luke Chambers looks certain to miss the rest of the season due to the injury he suffered when he collided with Bartosz Bialkowski in the first half of this afternoon's 1-0 defeat at Brentford.
"He’s cracked a rib, so no doubt he’ll be in tomorrow telling me he wants to play [against Barnsley on Tuesday] but I doubt he will,” manager Mick McCarthy said afterwards.
Better news for the Blues boss is that midfielder Cole Skuse will be available to face the Tykes having missed out today after suffering a blow to the head in the Millwall match.
