Season Ticket Sales Up Seven Per Cent as Early Bird Deadline Extended to Wednesday - Ipswich Town News

Town have revealed that season ticket sales are up seven per cent on the same point last summer and that with phone lines having been busy ahead of this lunchtime’s midday deadline, the early bird price will remain available until noon on Wednesday.

The Blues ticket office received more than 150 calls in three hours this morning with prices set to rise significantly after the deadline. An adult lower tier seat, for example, costing £381 will be £163 more expensive post-early bird.

Town, who dropped prices by 10 per cent across the board for 2018/19, say they have sold more than 10,000 seats with cancellations 50 per cent down on a year ago.

"The uptake has been very encouraging and obviously we are delighted,” managing director Ian Milne told the club site."

""There is a positive feeling about the club and I think that is shown with the increase in season ticket sales."""We are going into an exciting new era for everyone involved with Ipswich Town, particularly the supporters.”

Season tickets can be purchased at Planet Blue, by phone on 03330 050503 or online from ITFC Direct.
