Academy right-back Dylan Crowe looks set to win his 10th England U17s cap when the Young Lions face Norway in their European Championships quarter-final at Burton’s Pirelli Stadium this evening (ITV4 5.45pm).

Crowe, 17, who has just completed the first year of his scholarship at Playford Road and has previously won caps at U15 and U16 levels, started two of England’s group games and came on as a half-time sub in the other.

Elsewhere, Town management candidate Paul Hurst’s Shrewsbury are in League One play-off second leg action at home to Charlton this evening with a 1-0 lead from the first match (Sky Sports Football, 5pm).

Hurst, 43, is currently the 2-1 joint-favourite for the Town job with Bet Victor alongside St Mirren boss Jack Ross.

Meanwhile, on-loan Blues right-back Josh Emmanuel was in the Rotherham side which drew 2-2 at Scunthorpe in the first leg of their League One play-off semi-final yesterday.

Emmanuel, 20, who has spent the season on loan with the Millers, created his side’s second goal with a powerful run down the right.

At Portman Road on Saturday afternoon, a Blues U15s/U16s team was beaten 6-1 by Tottenham in this year’s Academy Showcase at Portman Road.

The teams were playing for the Dick Parker Trophy, named in honour of the long-serving Town employee and Spurs fan who died at the end of last year.
