Futurestars Kit Amnesty Extended to End of June - Ipswich Town News

The Futurestars kit amnesty will now run until the end of June with Rushmere St Andrew-based Sportsmed East joining Total Football as a partner and collection point.

Unwanted full or part kits - including shirts, shorts, socks, tracksuits, training kits plus boots and trainers - can be dropped off at Total Football in Key Street, Ipswich until May 31st and Sportsmed East, with whom former Blues physio Dave Williams is a director, in Woodbridge Road, Rushmere St Andrew until June 30th. It will then be sent to Ghana and Togo.

Futurestars, whose director is former Town midfielder Simon Milton, pictured above with Futurestars kit sponsor Kieron Dyer and Karen Cornforth from Total Football, works with more than 4,000 children every week and the donated kit will be used in local schools and by children who need it most.

Any kit which is no longer needed, by individuals or by local football clubs, will be gratefully received and shipped from Felixstowe to Ghana later this year. If you have any questions or large collections contact info@futurestarscharity.org.uk.
