Knudsen Unused Sub in Denmark's Final Friendly - Ipswich Town News
Blues defender Jonas Knudsen was an unused sub as Denmark beat Mexico 2-0 at the Brøndby Stadion in their last friendly prior to travelling to Russia for the World Cup finals.
The three-times-capped 25-year-old’s preferred left-back role was occupied by Udinese's Jens Stryger Larsen, who despite primarily being right-sided is the first-choice in that position going into the finals.
Denmark’s first group game is against Peru in Saransk next Saturday evening with Australia and France their other opponents.
