Knudsen Again Unused Sub as Danes Draw - Ipswich Town News
Blues defender Jonas Knudsen was again an unused sub as Denmark drew 1-1 with Australia in their second World Cup finals Group C game in Samara this afternoon.
Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen put the Danes in front but Mile Jedinak of Aston Villa levelled from the spot for the Australians via a controversial VAR-awarded penalty.
Knudsen, 25, who rejoined the squad on Monday after his brief private jet return to Denmark to be with his wife and newborn baby, will hope to add to his three caps and help his side confirm a place in the last 16 when they face France at the Luzhniki in their final group game next Tuesday.
The Danes are currently on four points and are top of the group but with France and Peru playing their second game this afternoon.
