Dozzell, Adeyemi, Chalobah and Vincent-Young All Start Friendly Against Kilmarnock - Ipswich Town News

Andre Dozzell, Tom Adeyemi, new loan signing Trevoh Chalobah and trialist Kane Vincent-Young are all in the Town starting XI for this afternoon’s behind-closed-doors friendly in Spain, which is against Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock.

The Blues, who are likely to play a different XI in each half as is usual in early pre-season games, have spent the week training at the Pinatar Arena Football Center, San Pedro del Pinatar, near Murcia, while Killie have been at nearby La Manga, which is where the game is being played.

Dozzell and Adeyemi are on their way back from cruciate knee and hamstring injuries respectively which saw them hardly feature last season, while Chalobah signed on loan from Chelsea on the first day of pre-season.

TWTD revealed Town’s interest in Vincent-Young, who is available having turned down a contract at Colchester United, a fortnight ago and the 22-year-old has spent the week training with the Blues.
