U23s at Lowestoft - Ipswich Town News
The Blues’ U23s are in action in a pre-season friendly against Lowestoft Town at their Amber Dew Events Stadium this evening (KO 7.45pm).
The likes of Barry Cotter, Conor McKendry, Pat Webber, Aaron Drinan and Brett McGavin, who were involved with the first team at Braintree on Saturday but didn’t travel to East Grinstead for last night’s 1-0 victory over Crawley, are all expected to play against the Southern League Central side.
There is a further friendly on Thursday when a Town XI faces AFC Sudbury at King’s Marsh (KO 7.45pm).
Town U23s coach Gerard Nash (pictured) recently passed the UEFA Pro Licence course with the Football Association of Ireland.
