Young Town XI at AFC Sudbury - Ipswich Town News

A young Town XI will play a friendly against AFC Sudbury at King’s Marsh this evening (KO 7.45pm).

The travelling party is likely to be mainly academy scholars and perhaps some of the trialists who were involved at Brightlingsea Regent on Saturday.

The game will preceded by a chance to take part in walking football on Sudbury's 3G pitch.

The clubhouse, bar and kitchen will open from 6.30pm with admission £5 for adult and free for under-18s.

Last summer an U23s side were beaten 3-1 by Sudbury, who play in the Bostik League North, with Declan Daniels, who was released by the Blues academy towards the end of last season, netting for Gerard Nash’s team.

Tonight we have walking football on the pitch from 5:30-6:30pm then AFC Sudbury youth players acting as mascots for the the 1st team vs Ipswich Town at 7.45pm - why not come and join us? ⚽⚽⚽ pic.twitter.com/ZrCLkJASyA– AFC Sudbury Football in the Community (@afcsudburyfitc) July 19, 2018
