Knudsen and Harrison in Town Squad Facing MK Dons - Ipswich Town News

Full-back Jonas Knudsen will make his return to action with the Blues in this evening’s penultimate friendly away against the MK Dons (KO 7.45pm), while new signing Ellis Harrison will make his first appearance in a Town shirt.

Knudsen, 25, was back at Playford Road yesterday having been given time off following his time at the World Cup with Denmark, where he played one game and picked up his fourth full cap.

Harrison, 24, joined the Blues from Bristol Rovers yesterday and is likely to start as the lone striker in Paul Hurst’s increasingly familiar 4-2-3-1 system.

Martyn Waghorn, who continues to be the subject of transfer speculation, is also in a 19-man party travelling to face the League Two club. Right-back Jordan Spence will be up against his old club.
