Smith Joins Aldershot on Loan - Ipswich Town News

Blues centre-half Chris Smith has joined Vanarama National League Aldershot on loan for the first half of the season.

Academy product Smith, 20, spent much of last season on loan at Chelmsford in the National League South having made one senior appearance for the Blues in last season’s Carabao Cup tie at Crystal Palace.

He joins former Blues Adam McDonnell and George Fowler at the Recreation Ground, while ex-midfielders Kundai Benyu and James Blanchfield also previously spent time on loan with the Shots.

The former Kesgrave High School pupil is due to stay with Aldershot until December 29th.
