New Deal for Stockwell - Ipswich Town News
Former Town stalwart Mick Stockwell has signed another one year deal at Colchester United. Stockwell, who moved to Layer Road two years ago, has been a big hit with the Essex club and is yet to miss a game.
In his first season he was voted Player of the Year and last season reached the 700 senior appearances milestone.
Stockwell was at Town for 19 years and is now just three games away from having made 600 league appearances.
Another former Town man, Danny Sonner, is being linked with a move to Derby County. Sonner is available on a Bosman and has previously been connected with moves to Anderlecht, Norwich, Bradford and Preston.
