Sutton Confirm Drinan Loan - Ipswich Town News
Vanarama National League Sutton United have confirmed the loan signing of Blues striker Aaron Drinan following his trial.
The 20-year-old Irishman came on as a half-time sub for the Amber and Chocolates in their 1-0 friendly victory over Norwich City’s U23s on Saturday and evidently impressed enough to handed the chance to spend the first half of the season at Gander Green Lane.
Drinan moved to the Blues from Waterford in his native Ireland in January and is yet to make a first team appearance despite having been on the bench on five occasions.
