Town targets Jon Nolan, Toto Nsiala and Curtis Tilt have all been left out of their respective clubs’ squads for their opening matches of the season.
Nolan and Nsiala are absent from the Shrewsbury 18 for their game at home to Bradford, while Tilt is not included by Blackpool for their match at Wycombe Wanderers.
Accrington do include striker Kayden Jackson in the team taking on Gillingham at home.
