Home Derby Moves - Ipswich Town News
Town's home derby with Norwich City scheduled for Saturday, September 14th has moved back a day to Sunday, September 15th with a 1pm kick-off. Yesterday the Carrow Road game moved to Sunday, March 3rd, also at 1pm.
These moves hardly come as a surprise, although many fans will be frustated that matches are not kicking-off on Saturday at 3pm as is traditional.
In recent years the police have demanded that East Anglian derbies move to Sundays.
The September 15th fixture is likely to mark Andy Marshall's first derby appearance in a Town shirt.
