Edun Starts for Blues Against Villa - Ipswich Town News

Tayo Edun is handed his first Blues Championship start and Gwion Edwards returns from injury as Town take on Aston Villa at Portman Road.

Bartosz Bialkowski will be in goal with former Villa youngster Janoi Donacien at right-back, Jonas Knudsen at left-back and Toto Nsiala - making his home debut - at the centre of the defence alongside skipper Luke Chambers.

In midfield Cole Skuse returns having been left on the bench at Exeter with Trevoh Chalobah and Jon Nolan, who is also making his home debut.

Edun is on the left and Edwards is on the right with Ellis Harrison getting the nod as the lone striker.

Freddie Sears, Grant Ward and Kayden Jackson are among the subs having started against the Grecians.

There’s no place for Teddy Bishop or Danny Rowe in the 18, the pair having made their first appearances of the season as subs against Exeter.
