Holland Boro Link - Ipswich Town News
This weekend's tabloid Matt Holland link is with Middlesbrough. Steve McClaren's club are reported to be keen on making a summer move for the Town skipper. No price is quoted.
It's not clear whether Boro are the club whose offer Town refused or whether Holland was the player that offer was refused for. Given the number of clubs reported to be interested in Town players and the number of players linked with moves, the identities of club and player are difficult to speculate upon.
Holland himself has made no comment on his transfer situation on his column in the Independent on Sunday (http://sport.independent.co.uk/world/comment/story.jsp?story=308122).
He reflects on his experiences in the World Cup, and particularly his penalty miss which he says reduced him to tears.
