Blackpool Boss: Tilt Missed Out Due to Knock - Ipswich Town News
Blackpool boss Terry McPhillips says Blues target Curtis Tilt missed tonight’s 2-1 Carabao Cup win at Doncaster having picked up a knock in training.
"He got injured in training on Monday and got a bad knock after a collision with Chris Taylor, so that was that," he told the Blackpool Gazette. "He’s still tight and stuff. He’s got a tight hamstring and that’s it."
Quizzed on whether he believes the 27-year-old centre-half will still be a Blackpool player after Friday’s 5pm loan deadline, he added: "We’ll have to see on Friday at teatime, we’ll have to wait and see. If he is, then hopefully he’s ready for Walsall on Saturday.”
