Season Tickets Total Up - Ipswich Town News
Town could be about to beat last year's season ticket total despite relegation to the First Division. The ticket office say that 60% of season ticket holders have already renewed their seats while another 1,000 new tickets have been issued and few from the waiting list appear to have changed their minds.
Ticket office manager John Ford says that the club are hopeful that they will have more season ticket holders next season than they did for last year's Premiership campaign: "I'm very optimistic that we will be very close to the 18,000 mark set last season and with nearly a week to go before the deadline for special prices [June 28th] I have a very good feeling that we will exceed that."
Unofficial reports over the last couple of weeks have even suggested Town might even have as many as 22,000 season ticket holders next season.
