Dyer Backs Bramble - Ipswich Town News
Former Town midfielder Kieron Dyer has backed Titus Bramble to make the full England side if he joins him at Newcastle United. The Magpies are reported to have had a bid of over £4 million turned down by Town.
Dyer, who joined Newcastle from Town in the summer of 1999, says: "I'd put money on Titus soon getting full England status on Tyneside. I really would. He can develop into a world class central defender."
"Ipswich have sadly been relegated and I think that Titus can develop in the Premiership with us. I know he had a disappointing time last season, possibly he got a bit stale. It can happen with young players, take Rio Ferdinand for example.
"He had a dodgy season or more at West Ham when he was making mistakes, but look at him now. Leeds have got one of the best defenders in the world."
