Walters Ruled Out of Ireland Friendly - Ipswich Town News
Blues loan striker Jon Walters has been ruled out of the Republic of Ireland’s friendly in Poland on Tuesday.
Walters has been allowed to return to Town reportedly to allow him to work on his fitness following a summer knee injury.
The 34-year-old won his 54th cap and played the full 90 minutes as Ireland were beaten 4-1 by Wales in last night’s UEFA Nations League tie in Cardiff.
Blues keeper Bartosz Bialkowski was not included in the Poland squad for their games during the international break.
