Blues left-back Jonas Knudsen was an unused sub as Denmark beat Wales 2-0 in Aarhus in their opening UEFA Nations League tie.
Tottenham's Christian Eriksen netted both goals, the second from the penalty spot.
Wales had previously got their Nations League campaign off to a very strong start by beating a Republic of Ireland side featuring Jon Walters 4-1 in Cardiff on Thursday.
Walters will be back at Playford Road tomorrow having been allowed to return to Town following that match and won’t be involved in Ireland’s friendly against Poland in Wroclaw on Tuesday.
