Branagan on Way Back - Ipswich Town News
Keeper Keith Branagan is continuing his recovery from shoulder surgery and will be back goalkeeping in ten days' time. The former Irish international badly pulled shoulder ligaments in training back in January, a serious injury for a keeper.
Up to now he has spent his time working on improving the strength and movement in the shoulder, but is now ready to get back to action.
With Matteo Sereni virtually certain to move on, the 2002/03 season looks likely to see Branagan playing a more prominent role than last year.
His only appearance during the relegation season was at Leicester as a sub after Sereni was red-carded when Robbie Savage took his now obligatory dive.
During the previous season he made two starts as understudy to Richard Wright.
