One or Two More to Go - Ipswich Town News

Town manager George Burley says that one or two more players will leave the club before the end of the summer. Already Titus Bramble seems certain to complete his £5 million plus move to Newcastle while Matteo Sereni's loan to Brescia is set to be confirmed very soon.

Burley said: "There is no doubt one or two more players will leave before the season starts.

"But we have a avery strong squad and one which is good enough to go straight back into the Premiership."

Earlier in the week, prior to the Bramble deal being confirmed, chairman David Sheepshanks was quoted as saying that Town needed to sell two players in order to balance the books.

Any departures further to the two players Sheepshanks referred to could give George Burley some money to play with in the transfer market.

It seems likely that should money be available then Sixto Peralta could be a prominent target. The Blues are still yet to hear anything from Inter Milan regarding their proposal of a second loan season for the Argentinian.
