Folami in Action for Australian U19s - Ipswich Town News
Blues striker Ben Folami was in the Australian U19 side which beat a Singapore Selection XI 1-0 in a friendly yesterday.
Folami is with the Young Socceroos for the 2018 AFC U19 Championship in Indonesia which starts later this week. The squad has been training in Singapore ahead of the competition.
The 19-year-old, who made two starts and three sub appearances for the Blues first team last season, scored his first goal for the U19s in a 2-1 victory in another training game against Malaysian club Johor Darul Ta’zim’s U21 side last Thursday.
The Australian youngsters play South Korea in their opening group game on Friday, Vietnam three days later and then Jordan on Thursday 25th October.
