U23s in Action at Charlton - Ipswich Town News
Jordan Roberts, Shane McLoughlin, Bailey Clements and Harry Wright will be in a young U23s side facing Charlton Athletic at their Sparrows Lane training ground this afternoon (KO 2pm).
Roberts, who has recovered from the virus which hit several members of the squad last week, is the only player involved to have featured for the first team this season. Former Blues striker Billy Clarke is in the Charlton side.
The U23s, who drew 2-2 away at QPR in their last competitive game and are unbeaten in eight, remain top of the Professional Development League Two South table.
U23s: Wright, Ronan, C Smith, Marshall, Ndaba, Clements, McLoughlin, El Mizouni, McGavin, Roberts, K Brown. Subs: Vega, Egan, Hughes, Dobra.
