Robson on Bramble - Ipswich Town News
Sir Bobby Robson says that his new signing Titus Bramble has the potential to make the full England squad. The former Town manager says that Bramble is by no means the finished article, but believes he has great ability.
Bramble's move to Newcastle is expected to be completed today with the defender on Tyneside discussing terms. Robson is talking in terms of the Ipswich-born player following Kieron Dyer's footsteps and also compares him to former Town and England defender Kevin Beattie: "I told Kevin he was a diamond from day one and we polished him into a world class player. Now we are hoping to do the same with Titus.
"I don't doubt he has the ability to succeed and I am looking forward to working with him closely."
