Burley on Holiday - Ipswich Town News
Town boss George Burley has gone on holiday in Monte Carlo as his players move on to the Royal Hospital School, Holbrook to continue their pre-season preparations.
Fitness coach Simon Thadani and coaches Tony Mowbray and Steve McCall are running the sessions at the school which impressed the players last season.
Then Marcus Stewart was particularly impressed with the culinary fare on offer: "Every pre-season is hard work, but it is easier in nice surroundings at Holbrook. Very nice food too!"
Town chairman David Sheepshanks said earlier in the summer that most close season transfers would take place in July. Any moves, other than those of Matteo Sereni and Titus Bramble, are unlikely to progress until Burley returns next week.
