Zondervan Steps Down - Ipswich Town News
Town's European scout Romeo Zondervan is to move to a part-time scouting role with the club. Simon Hunt, Town's Scandinavian scout, will take-up the Dutchman's current role.
David Sheepshanks said: "I can confirm that Romeo Zondervan has moved to a part-time scouting role within the club.
"Romeo has provided, and I am sure will continue to provide, excellent service to the club and I am delighted that is the case.
"Simon Hunt will take on the full-time role of European scout, reporting to our chief scout, Colin Suggett.
"This move is part of our tightening of the belt throughout the club, however I am confident that both Simon, as our full-time scout, and Romeo
will continue to serve us well on mainland Europe."
Hunt, a former Wrexham player moved to Sweden in the 1980s when he joined IF Elfsborg as a player. As his playing career ended he became a coach and was manager of Kalmar FF, a Swedish second division side, until being sacked in September 2000. Two months later he joined the Town staff.
