Andre Dozzell and Trevoh Chalobah have been named in the England U20s squad for the U20s Elite League game against Germany at Colchester United's Jobserve Community Stadium on Monday 19th November (KO 7pm), while Flynn Downes and Tayo Edun are on standby and academy coach Titus Bramble will shadow head coach Paul Simpson and his staff.
Dozzell won his first U20s cap in last month’s 1-1 draw in the Czech Republic, Chalobah having made his first appearance at that level in September. Edun won seven U20s caps last season, while Downes is yet to feature.
Blues U16s coach Bramble follows his fellow academy coach Kieron Dyer in working with Simpson ahead of the game. Town U18s assistant manager Dyer was involved with the squad ahead of last month’s games and has been asked to join up again for future matches but is not involved on this occasion.
