Karic Returns Again! - Ipswich Town News
Amir Karic is reported to have once more returned to Slovenia, just two days after being called back to Portman Road. Karic's loan spell at NK Maribor officially ended on Sunday and Town asked him to report back, prompting him to claim that the club were "counting on" him for the season ahead.
This, however, seems far from the case and the 28-year-old is now reported in Slovenia to be on the verge of signing a season's loan at Maribor, where he has now had three spells and with whom he won the Slovenian championship last season.
Karic, signed from Maribor in September 2000 for £700,000, has made just three appearances in the blue shirt, all as sub in the Worthington Cup.
The left-sided player, who played in all Slovenia's games at the World Cup, is reportedly on £7,000-a-week at Town.
