Bramble Agrees Terms - Ipswich Town News
Titus Bramble has agreed terms with Newcastle United and his move now appears a mere formality. Bramble's £5 million plus transfer has been put on hold while his achilles operation heals, but earlier reports that this could jeopardise the switch are thought to be wide of the mark.
Bramble is remaining on Tyneside while Newcastle's medics satisfy themselves that he has recovered sufficiently from the op.
The 20-year-old had heel problems throughout last season and underwent the operation within days of the season ending.
Prior to the deal with Newcastle he wasn't expected to be back in action with Town until after the pre-season tour of Denmark.
