Lambert: When It Turns It’ll Be a Great Ride - Ipswich Town News

Boss Paul Lambert has predicted that if the Blues keep doing what they’re doing currently their fortunes will eventually turn and the club will be in for “a great ride”.

Lambert has done much to bring unity to Town since taking over just a month ago and praised supporters for their backing during his time at Portman Road and for remaining positive despite the lack of a win so far.

"The fans have been brilliant since I’ve been here, they really have, they’ve been absolutely brilliant,” he said.

"The great thing I can sense is that you feel it, you sense it that they want us to do really well and I think they’re enjoying it.

"OK, we never won the game [against Bristol City] but I think they’re enjoying their football, they’re enjoying the energy of it and I think they can see the light, the progression of it.

"Everybody wants to win, I understand all that, but we’re giving everything we can do get that.

"We’ve come in at a time where maybe they didn’t even look like winning. Now it’s a different ball game. Like I said before, it’s the way I play and the energy of it.

"But the fans have been great and I’m pretty sure we’re going to have a massive crowd at Nottingham on Saturday.

🎟 | @NFFC have confirmed they will be selling tickets to #itfc fans on the day before Saturday's game. These will be available from the away ticket office at the Brian Clough Stand for the following prices:

"And that’s basically the message, keep doing what we’re doing because this will turn. And when it does turn it’ll be a great ride this one.”

Earlier this week Town had sold 1,300 seats for Saturday's game at Nottingham Forest with tickets available on the day.
