U18s Face Leaders Cardiff - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U18s are in action against league leaders Cardiff City at the Leckwith Athletics Stadium on Saturday morning (KO 11am).
The U18s won 3-1 at Watford last Saturday despite fielding a very young side featuring four U16s.
The team coached by Adem Atay and Kieron Dyer, who was offered a role in the Bluebirds' academy in the summer of 2017, is currently third in the Professional Development League Two South table, three points behind Cardiff, who have two games in hand. The Welsh side's U18s are coached by Dyer's friend and Newcastle team-mate Craig Bellamy.
Meanwhile, Town’s table-topping U23s are next in action on Monday when they take on Charlton at Playford Road (KO 1pm).
