Sheepy on Ticket Sales - Ipswich Town News

Town chairman David Sheepshanks says that season ticket sales have been "encouraging". Previously the club reported that numbers of season tickets were likely to match those of last season with 18,000 purchasing their seat for the new campaign.

He told the club site: "Sales so far have been encouraging. It appears as though approximately 80% of existing season ticket holders have renewed their seats and of particular note is that we have processed over 1,500 new requests from first time applicants who have not been season ticket holders before.

"It's too early to give final numbers, as those who were on the official waiting list still have another 10 days to take up their option."

There are 3,000 fans on the waiting list which will be closed once this year's season tickets have been processed. Anyone on the list not wishing to buy a season ticket will have their £20 deposit refunded.
