U18s Net Brilliant 24-Pass Goal - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U18s netted a brilliant 24-pass opening goal during Saturday’s 2-1 defeat of Professional Development League Two South leaders Cardiff City at the Leckwith Athletics Stadium.
French midfielder Lounes Foudil (pictured) completed the fine team goal, while Matt Healy netted the second for what was a very young team led by assistant boss Kieron Dyer with manager Adem Atay missing the match through illness.
Dyer was up against a team who are coached by his friend and former Newcastle team-mate Craig Bellamy, however, the former Welsh international also missed the game as he was a Sky pundit for the Manchester City-Everton match.
U18s: Egan, O'Reilly, Smith, Healy, Fehrenbach, Henderson, Curtis (Clifford 85), Foudil, Simpson, Hughes (c), Crane (Cutbush 74).
