Brown Off to Dons? - Ipswich Town News
Reports this morning say Town defender Wayne Brown is likely to become a target of Wimbledon once they have sold Ireland international Kenny Cunningham. Brown spent a successful loan spell with the Dons last season and only a lack of cash prevented them trying to make the deal permanent.
Brown has repeatedly said he wants first team football and that could tempt him away from Portman Road where he looks to be outside of the first eleven.
Town have offered the 24-year-old a new two-year contract but are yet to hear back from the Barking-born player.
Cunningham is mulling over offers from Sunderland and Birmingham and the cash from that deal may free the cash for a move for Brown.
