Karic's New Manager Named - Ipswich Town News
Amir Karic's chances of making future Slovenia squads will have been helped with the appointment of NK Maribor boss Bojar Prasnikar as the national side's new manager. Prasnikar replaces Srecko Katanec who resigned after their dismal World Cup performance.
Karic was in the Maribor side which won the Slovenian championship last season and Prasnikar, who has already managed Slovenia twice, was recently reported to have been keen to sign Karic permanently for his club.
Prasnikar will manage both Maribor and the national side until November when he will relinquish his role with the club.
Last week reports from Slovenia suggested that Karic could spend another season on loan at Maribor.
