Wilnis on Season Ahead - Ipswich Town News

Town defender Fabian Wilnis is confident that club can bounce back into the Premiership at the first attempt. The Dutchman held clear the air talks with George Burley last month and is now off the transfer list and readying himself for the season ahead.

Wilnis says the squad are confident as they head off on their team-building course at Goodwood, West Sussex: "We are all feeling quite positive and we are looking to prove people wrong.

"We want to show we are a good team and we can play the football to take us straight back up.

"There is no hiding place for us. But you just have to to look at how good this squad is and how capable we are of going up.

"This year we will play more in our opponents' half. We should be the better team than most of the opposition and so be the attacking team.

"But it can still be tricky because teams will sit back and try to counter us, especially when we are at home."
