Free PDP Trials at Portman Road - Ipswich Town News

Town’s Boys Elite Player Development Programme (PDP) is holding a free open trials for outfield players and goalkeepers at Portman Road next week.


Monday 7th January 2019
5.30pm to 6.30pm U7s/U8s (yrs 2&3)"6.30pm to 7.30pm U9s/U10s (yrs 4&5)
7.30pm to 8.30pm U11s/U12s (yrs 6&7)

Tuesday 8th January 2019
6pm to 7pm U13s/U14s (yrs 8&9)
7pm to 8pm U15s/U16s (yrs 10&11)

The trials take place at Portman Road, IP1 2DA, with entry via Gate 1, Sir Alf Ramsey Way. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start.

Players must bring weather-appropriate clothing, shin pads, a drink and Astro boots and any essential medication/inhalers and gloves if registering as a goalkeeper.

To register for the free sessions send the following information to richard.boreham@itfc.co.uk: Child’s full name, contact email, parents’ name and contact number, date of birth, school year, current clubs, any other professional club training, level, eg PDC/elite, state outfield trial or goalkeeper trial and any relevant medical history.

There are limited spaces per age group available and places will be secured on a first come, first served basis.

If players show the required standard they will be invited to join the paid programme. An email will be sent following the sessions with a decision. For further details on the programme please visit www.itfcpdp.co.uk.
